Passenger hurt in bus-trailer accident
Article Text:A Miami-Dade Transit bus passenger was sent to the hospital Wednesday with minor injuries after an accident involving the bus and a trailer.
The crash occurred just after 11 a.m. at Northwest 20th Street and 22nd Avenue. The bus was stopped, letting off and picking up passengers, when a minivan pulling a trailer east on Northwest 20th Street made a turn.
As it did so, the trailer came loose and slammed into the bus, a Miami Fire Department spokesman said. The passenger was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital.
