Race Horse Injured When Trailer Overturns On I-77

NOTE: THIS ACCIDENT HAPPENED BECAUSE THE TRAILER CAME LOOSE!!!
INDEPENDENCE, Ohio -- A race horse was transported to see a veterinarian at Northfield Race Tracks Thursday morning after a crash along Interstate 77.
A truck with a horse trailer came unhitched and ended up on its side.The thoroughbred horse "Glacial Breeze" had to be rescued from the trailer.
He had cuts to his legs, but is expected to be OK.The owner said he owes a lot to rescue crews for saving his horse.The family was from West Virginia.Two lanes were blocked and traffic was backed up for hours.
