3 Injured In I-74 Crash
Troopers: Trailer Breaks Loose, Slams Into Jeep

DEARBORN COUNTY, Ind. -- Three people are recovering after a crash along Interstate 74 in Indiana.
The crash happened at about 3:30 p.m. Tuesday near the 162 mile marker.Officers said Larry Beamon, of Delhi, Iowa, was driving a 2004 Ford F-150 truck pulling an empty trailer when the trailer broke loose somehow.
As the trailer spun out in the eastbound lanes, it struck a 1993 Jeep Cherokee driven by Pandora Cook, 31, of New Castle.
Her Jeep blew out a tire, causing it to spin into the media.Cook was taken to Margaret Mary Hospital in Batesville for treatment.
Chelsea Spradlin, 16, of New Castle was also taken to the hospital for her injuries.A second passenger in the Jeep, Jasmine McDonald, 20, of Rushville was flown to University Hospital in Cincinnati for non-life-threatening injuries.Beamon was not injured in the crash.The wreck is still under investigation.
