Fatal rollover accident slows traffic near Rothbury

ROTHBURY, Mich. (WOOD) -- A 51-year-old woman was killed this afternoon after she was ejected from the SUV she was riding in when the driver lost control and rolled the vehicle.
The wreck took place around 1:30 this afternoon on southbound US-31 and Winston Road in Rothbury.
The Oceana County Sheriff's Department says there were four people in the vehicle - two adults and two children - when the driver lost control of the vehicle and the trailer it was towing.
The driver is not hurt, and the two children - 9 months and 22 months - were taken to the hospital for examination but were not seriously injured.
The woman who died was the only person not wearing a seatbelt.
