TUSCARORA -- A runaway trailer killed a woman as she stood in the driveway of her Steuben County home, state police said.
Joan Hickok and her husband were loading a tractor onto a trailer at their Tuscarora home Wednesday morning, when the trailer and the truck started rolling, troopers said.
The trailer ran over Hickok and killed her, said troopers in Painted Post, who added they were investigating how the accident happened.
